Bryce is Vice President of inScience Communications and is responsible overall for inScience Communications strategic medical communications business. Bryce has 25 years’ experience in CRO, pharmaceutical company and medical publishing and communications in both the UK and USA. Bryce has a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Cell Biology from Manchester University.

Mark Davies is the Scientific Services Director for the London, UK office of inScience Communications, leading the editorial teams, overseeing projects, supporting the project teams and ensuring quality. Mark has a BSc in Pharmacy from Aston University, Birmingham, UK and a PhD in tumour immunology from the University of Nottingham, UK. Mark also served as a post-doctoral research scientist at the University of London and the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. Mark has worked in medical communications for more than 18 years, joining inScience Communications in 2006.

Christopher Radel is the Scientific Services Director for the US office of inScience Communications. Chris earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, a MS in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and MS and PhD degrees in Physiology from Albany Medical College. In addition, Chris served as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Chris has been a scientific writer for over 15 years with experience across a multitude of deliverables and therapy areas, and has been with inScience Communications for 11 years. He is an active member of ISMPP and maintains a CMPP designation.

Paul is responsible for new business development for inScience Communications.

He has 28 years’ pharmaceutical industry experience having worked for 19 years in AstraZeneca with roles in primary care and specialist product sales, sales productivity team, infection marketing manager in emerging markets including territory manager for Cuba, regional marketing manager in AsiaPacific based in Singapore and global professional relations manager for CRESTOR.

Paul has been with inScience Communications since 2009 and develops relationships between the company and major Pharma in order align agency services with their needs in the Medical Communications area.

Amanda Sheldon

Amanda has experience in medical communications across multiple therapeutic areas. She earned a BA in Neuroscience from the University of Delaware and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Amanda served as a postdoctoral research scientist at the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University. Amanda has worked in medical communications for 6 years, joining inScience Communications in 2014.

Deborah is a highly competent account manager with over 9 years of experience in the publications and pharmaceutical industries. Since joining inScience Communications Deborah has gained a wealth of knowledge working across a variety of significant accounts. Her skills include managing multiple projects from their initial inception through to final delivery with a focus on clear and efficient client communication. She is proficient in complex financial management and logistical coordination and has successfully managed and delivered European and international meetings including advisory boards, symposia and investigator meetings.

Amy has 16 years’ experience in the publishing/medical communications industry. Prior to joining inScience Communications, Amy worked at Blackwell Publishing (now Wiley-Blackwell) and Ashley Publications (now part of Informa Healthcare).

Amy has experience of working with medical and brand client teams to develop meeting, customised and publication planning deliverables across a range of therapeutic areas including respiratory, cardiology, gastroenterology, metabolic diseases, oncology and men’s and women’s health. She has a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Sheffield.

After starting my working career at 18 in a small advertising agency, I trained myself in design using the very first edition of Photoshop! This led me to a job running production for a specialist publishing company. I even witnessed the birth of the very first digital printer whilst qualifying at the London College of Printing and Technology. After a few more years running specialist congress events at the NEC and Earls Court, I decided I wanted a more stable career. Then I saw an advert for an Account Executive in a medical communications agency with all my skills listed as essential. I interviewed and got the job, and so 23 years of working my way up from Account Executive, I now look after the UK Client Services Team as their Director.

I bring with me 7 years’ experience prior to medical communications, which includes legal qualifications as well as marketing, sales, business, finance, print and production, design and meetings management. As far as medical communications is concerned, I am a meetings specialist, having delivered over 250 in my 23 years, but I have also delivered over 23 publication plans and been responsible for developing dozens of enhanced and innovative solutions to address everything from patient-centric needs to NICE submissions. I now spend most of my days building and nurturing the UK-based client services team and working with my colleagues in the scientific services team to train and resource the UK delivery team, ensuring staff retention and well-being. My focus is on building client-agency partnerships and mentoring a highly motivated and qualified delivery team to maintain stability and productivity. I have also been part of the pitch teams responsible for winning new clients over the last 18 years.

Mel has a BA (Hons) in marketing and business and has worked in Pharmaceuticals, the NHS and medical communications for over 20 years. She joined inScience Communications in 2008. Mel has extensive experience of project management of large accounts in various therapeutic areas including women’s health & fertility, men’s health, oncology, anti-infectives, metabolic disease, vaccines, general medicine and growth hormones. As well as publication work, Mel has vast experience in organising and running large symposiums and advisory boards as well as publication planning and delivery.

Matthew graduated in 2009 from the University of Wales, Bangor and has over 7 years’ experience in the publishing/medical communications industry.

Matthew has extensive experience in creating, revising and reviewing copy across a range of medical communications activities including publications and bespoke projects. Working closely with clients and thought-leaders Matthew has successfully delivered a number of meetings including satellite symposia, ask the experts session, product theatres, virtual meetings, meetings-in-a-box, advisory boards and summits.
